Cristina R. de la Mar

Cristina Rodriguez de La Mar is a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Co-Owner of Seven Point Wellness (NYC / NJ). In her clinical practice, she specializes in women’s maternal and adolescent health and the care of oncology and chronic illness patients, providing adjunct hospice care to both adults and children.

​She held a multi-year acupuncture fellowship in the Departmen. of Integrative Medicine at Mt. Siani-Beth Israel Medical Center (NYC) providing in-patient care throughout the hospital. She is NADA Detox certified, a labor and delivery doula, and in process of becoming a GGS Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist.

She holds advanced training and certifications in Integrative Oncology Acupuncture via Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and International Oncology Certification from the TCM Academy of Integrative Medicine.

Her doctorate from Stanford University explored community-based social-change strategies, programs and organizations within the broader context of social movements. Prior to her career in TCM, she spent 25+ years as a consultant, executive director, and public policy advocate with foundations, government entities, cultural and non-profit organizations, and within U.S. and Mexican state penal systems.

Both her academic and professional work has primarily centered around US policy and human rights issues impacting Indigenous and Latino / Chicano communities.  Cristina is passionate about deepening the emerging conversations in women’s health in ways which broaden access to accurate information and quality care for all.
