Arrival

Doors will open at 8:45am. The event is at the Maplewood Country Club located at 28 Baker Street in Maplewood. There will be valet parking and coat check available. Please have your ticket on your phone. We will be resending all ticket purchasers a copy of their ticket before the event so don’t worry if you can’t find it now. (If by Saturday you still can’t find it, let us know.)

Check in and seating

Upon entry, please check in at general admission. If you are a speaker or a sponsor, please look for your dedicated check in. General admission seating is not reserved. You will receive a card that you can use to reserve the seat you want in the main room. This card will also have a QR code on it you will need to use later in the program, so please don’t discard it! This card also serves as your ticket for our swag bag! You can opt for your swag bag at the start of the event (there’s a notebook in there!) or at the end of the event.

Agenda

Please plan to arrive as early as possible to take advantage of breakfast and some early marketplace perusing. Our program will begin promptly at 9:30am.

Dr. Sharon Malone will deliver the keynote address at 9:45am.

Panel 1: Can you hear me now? The personal experience and public conversation of menopause. This panel will include Dr. Somi Javaid, Dr. Shefali Patel and Dr. Bernice Adu-Amankwa. Moderated by Juli Auclair Lipof.

Panel 2: We deserve better: Advocating for women’s health. This fireside chat with Jennifer Weiss-Wolf and Assemblywoman Heather Simmons (NJ-3) will be hosted by Dr. Sharon Malone.

There will be a 20 minute break for marketplace shopping and coffee.

Panel 3: Estrogen has left the building. This panel will include Dr. Amy Ahnert, Dr. Naser Gharaibeh, Adrienne Bitar, Dr. Alexandra Sowa and Stacey Futterman Tauriello. Moderated by Juli Auclair Lipof

Lunch will be served between 12:30 and 1:30pm

Panel 4: The Mid-Life Supporting Cast . This panel will include Cristina R. de la Mar, Jill Cohen, Dr. Eleonora Teplinsky, Dr. Alexandra Sowa, and Allison Kalsched. Moderated by Juli Auclair Lipof

Panel 5: My Brain on Menopause: mental health, sexuality, and the brain . This panel will include Lauren Tetenbaum, Dr. Somi Javaid, and Chanta Blue. Moderated by Juli Auclair Lipof

There will be a 20 minute break for marketplace shopping and coffee.

Guest speaker: Cancer and Hormones: What’s Real? with Dr. Eleonora Teplinsky.

A short comedic set by Abby Sher will follow.

The event will conclude at about 4:30pm after brief closing remarks.
